In the WS Journal today.An article stating ther has been more than 1000 minor quakes in Oklahoma since 01/01/14. The high pressure water being pumped into those holes plus the amount of water being pumped back in. Wilkes County should keep the Frackers out.

The geology of NC is not suited for drilling of any kind for oil or gas. There may be small pockets like the ones around Pinehurst area but it is not viable to drill for what little may be there.
The mountains in western NC do not contain any viable gas or oil deposits due to how the eastern side of the mountains were formed.

People in Davie county are organizing against "fracking" to ever be done in their county..Wonder why one of their legislators attached an ammendment to a bill in the legislature appropriating $1 million dollars to HELP gas explorers to drill test wells in N C for possible future fracking....
He showed his colors as to people who literally depend on clean groundwater for now and future generations..And was'nt it sweet to help the poor ol broke gas companies with a million of our tax money to help the gas co's out??
