My uncle shot it and gave it to us. This was many years ago.

How did you catch your groundhog? you cook with carrots, onions and potatoes.

I've only had groundhog roasted in the oven but seems like crockpot would work too.

What about a medium sized groundhog? How long a cook time?

I don't add any water only coffee sometimes 3 or 4 cups if it needs more liquid.

I add a cup of black coffee to mine too. Gives it that "au jus" flavor.

I use a can of cream of mushroom soup, add a can of water, little pepper & minced dry onions.

I have added cream of mushroom soup too and it's good that way also.

I usually put Lipton Onion Soup mix over top along with a can of Campbells mushroom soup.

I do stew beef and a roast just like Mommotwo does except I add several cups of dark strong coffee. It makes a good gravy.

Beef? If so, I usually cook mine in swanson beef stock mixed with lipton onion soup mix and red pepper.
