Putin was actually on the phone with Obama when it occurred -

Rumor has it that Putin calls Obama daily for advice.
Here's what I don't quite understand, though. If it's a Malaysian jet flying over Ukrainian soil (and Ukraine denies responsibility), why does it have any impact on Russian and US relations?

This is IT.. Will the shooting down of this passenger jet be the straw that breaks the camels back? More sanctions will be coming. I fully expect Obama to revoke Putin"s Bass Pro Shops Rewards card. This will not go unpunished.

If I find out Russia was behind it after all the sanctions that I have placed against them, I promise you that I will draw a red line all around that crash site and if one more planes drop within the red line then it is just too bad.
