I know what I would do if I was Obama. I would condemn it with the worst kind of condemning. Like, this was bad , I mean really bad. If I find out Russia was behind it after all the sanctions that I have placed against them, I promise you that I will draw a red line all around that crash site and if one more planes drop within the red line then it is just too bad.

Note on the Red Line Thingy, O-Bozo can erase and move that RED LINE and make it bigger at any Time, Remember, he did say, 'Wait until Im Relected, I can be more Flexible Then" !!!!!

Pro-Russian Rebel Commander: 'We Did Warn You Do Not Fly in Our Sky'

As news broke of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 being downed in eastern Ukraine, the separatist's shadowy commander with a pencil mustache issued a dark warning on social media. Through his VK.com account, Russia's version of Facebook, the self-proclaimed defense minister of the Donetsk People's Republic, Igor Girkin who goes by the nom de guerre Igor Strelkov boasted about shooting down a plane.

"We did warn you do not fly in our sky," he wrote.

Thinking it was a Ukrainian transport plane, Strelkov added that "a plane has just been downed somewhere around Torez, it lays there behind the 'Progress' mine," referring to the mining town of some 80,000 people.

"And here is the video proving another 'bird' falling down," he continued. "The bird went down behind a slagheap, not in a residential district. So no peaceful people were injured," Strelkov wrote, adding that there is also information about a Ukrainian military plane shot down.

However, Strelkov deleted the post when he found out it was actually a commercial jetliner carrying 295 innocent people not a military aircraft

The other Malaysian jetliner did not crash. It was hijacked. Now this one with close to 300 people on board. Really - how low can you go?

Separatists had BUK-SAMS. Most likely supplied by Russia. Now will they admit to it? Who knows

and SAMs consist of multiple units a radar, a command control unit and firing control units. very rarely in developed countries do/can a firing unit have the authorization to shoot without an order from the command unit.

The reasons flights happen through conflict zones is because MANPADS can't reach cruising altitude of passenger airliners. But BUK-SAMs sure can. Those are government high level missles. Governments get flight details of passenger flights.

It definitely was a BUK that took this plane down.

Uh oh?

It's not an Uh-oh on both sides.

Passenger planes fly through conflict zones every day. Flights fly through Afghanistan / Congo / etc. every. day.

From my understanding, the area they were flying over is considered a "no fly zone". At least US flights do not go over it, so I think it's partially pilot ignorance on the Malaysian flight. The Separatists thought they were shooting down another Ukrainian cargo plane (which they had took one down earlier in the week), but obviously made a mistake.

Seems to be an "uh oh" on both sides.

How does a group like this get weapons capable of this type of destruction?
