A study conducted by D. Mark Anderson, a Montana State University economics professor, and Daniel Rees, a professor at the University of Colorado Denver. In looking at state-level data from sources such as the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, Anderson and Rees discovered that states that had legalized medical marijuana saw an average of a 9 percent decrease in traffic deaths.
The medical claims are dubious at best. If the stuff really worked, some pharmaceutical company would have a patent on the chemical that is beneficial. Just be honest and legalize the stuff for everybody. That way the whole culture can have a buzz whenever they like.
I am totally for medical use of mary j. I see how much it has helped other states that are badly in need of extra funding and this would be a wonderful way of helping our states economy. They have already passed the law for medical use of the oil off of the plant. The oil helps ppl that have seizures. Mary J. is saving lives. The state just needs to do it right, and not give it to just anyone. What are your concerns about this hopefully "new" law?
